Wolfhounds_Quarterly

Wolfhound's Quarterly is a facebook group started by Brian Valente with the idea of lampooning traditional "serious" dog aficionado culture. The idea was "like GQ magazine but for Wolfhounds, BY Wolfhounds". There were a series of mock magazine covers and other foolery to have fun, but really to focus on love of the magnificent breed. For a time it was the #1 facebook group for Irish Wolfhounds. Since then it has grown to become a more gentle-spirited celebration of wolfhounds and their human companions. In 2015 the WQ started "Pay It Forward", a non profit fundraising endeavor to help wolfhounds in times of need, by helping cover the cost of food, medical, etc. we have helped hundreds of wolfhounds and raised over $30,000 with no-strings attached assistance. Instead of asking for donations, we wanted to make sure we offered things of value in return. The WQ Zazzle store is the latest extension of this.
