I hope you'll enjoy my collection of strange and beautiful old book illustrations. These images are from books, magazines, and other publications that are now in the public domain. You'll find a little bit of strangeness, some history, some beautiful drawings, poetry from the 1800's, etc. You'll find descriptions of each image that explains the artist, author, and what time period it came from. This is "art from the road" because I travel around a lot (RV style), and it's helpful to make an income while traveling to fund my adventures (gas, food, and hiking shoes mostly).
