Water’s Edge Gallery and Retail Company features the artwork of mother-daughter duo Susan M. Edgerton and Jamie S. Stoehr. After 20 years as a machinist, Susan started the business as a working brick and mortar gallery in Bayview, Wisconsin. As of July 1, 2019, Susan made the hard decision to leave the storefront in favor of strategies focusing on developing on-line stores, mobile storefronts and exposure, B2B relationships, and teaching. The nautically inspired theme serves as an allegory for leaving the relative and banal safety of comfort zones, setting sail for forbidden dreams, pitting oneself against the wondrous mysteries of the deep, and finding who you were meant to be. It is also about the mission that each person has to strengthen both companions and strangers for their journeys through affirmation, encouragement, inspiration, and love.
