I began my professional teaching career in Australia where I fell in love with their unique array of flora and fauna. Thus began my lifelong love of travel and all things wild! Africa and India provided many subjects for painting as did my scuba diving expeditions. Since retiring I have been able to take workshops and classes that have helped me grow as an artist. Experimenting with different techniques, styles and mediums led me to my love of all water media using rich vibrant colors often enhanced by raised gold metallic paint and ink accents. Creating art soothes my soul. I find watching colors flow and combine becomes an active meditation. I sincerely hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I enjoyed creating it!
