For about a decade we have blogged in secret; hiding in the shadows, alone in the world. Until now. We are Tumbl-Con 2014’s planners for The Vampire Diaries Fandom. This is our story. We know the risk. But we have no choice. We have to plan it. Tumbl-Con USA is going to be a massive convention event for all walks of the TumblrVerse. Are you a tumblr junkie? Then you’re invited! The goal of Tumbl-Con is to get people from around the country (perhaps the world) to come together in one place and share a fantastic time, form bonds and create memories that will last a lifetime. It will take place July 18-20th 2014! We’re going to make fans feel alive. Chicago is a place teeming with life and pulsing with people they would have only imagined meeting, drinking with as well as enjoying. This convention will be a Tinley Park Convention Center in Chicago. We aim to represent the totality of The Vampire Diaries fandom, create a fun unforgettable fandom appreciation experience, bring together new friends and strengthen the bonds we’ve all made through Tumblr and TVD. But we need everyone in the fandom to help us do it! We have a plan. We want to engage the fandom as much as possible, create events and activities as an entire force, a united force without shipping wars. A force that is alive and takes Tumbl-Con by storm………… Our number one goal is creating a united representation of the TVD fandom and providing a friendly and welcoming environment for ALL fans of this amazing show. We have opportunities for interaction on our blog, made to get you, the fan, engaged in our planning process and to also get to know the fandom a little better. Just because the con is in 2014 doesn’t mean we can’t start the party now! Besides, we all know Caroline Forbes is a sucker for party planning. You never know who might join in ;-) So let’s get the TVD party started!
