Hi there! I'm Amanda :) I'm a small town Canadian gal who is in love with art and design. At a young age I discovered calligraphy and I couldn't get enough of it. I was writing on everything I could get my hands on! Lucky for me, I grew up in a time when writing notes to your friends at school was all the rage, and I could even fold up my fancy notes into shapes and tiny envelopes to make them even cuter! I was so hooked on lettering that even writing my name on the chalkboard had to be fun or fancy. Bubble letters, anyone? Ahhh, I miss the 90's :) My love of beautiful writing spread into other areas and developed a love for art and making. Fast forward a few years (*wink*) and I'm now a Mom of two wonderful children who make me laugh and inspire me in so many ways. My little family and I live on a farm where we grow a lot of our own food, raise animals, and try to live as simply as possible. One of my favourite things to do, especially after a long day on the farm, is to sit down with a hot cup of coffee and a good Netflix series, and draw or hand letter. After all these years it still brings me to a place of joy, peace, and total calm. I started my business, Three Bird Studio, in 2016 to enable me to live out my dreams of being an artist and maker professionally. In my studio is where I create and also teach others how to create. Three Bird Design is an extension of that where I share my digital designs with you. My hope is that my products will bring you joy as they grace your home.
