I have lived on or near water my entire life. It seems by no accident that I ended up buying a lake house with resident loons on the lake in New Hampshire–near where On Golden Pond was filmed, — a lake house that reminds me of our family’s island cottage in McGregor Bay, Canada– And somehow having gone to college near Cincinnati where the “On Golden Pond” theme music was created may have something to it.
