We are a small church with a big heart and a strong desire to be a light in our community of Pensacola, Florida. We minister to the homeless and underserved in our community. Each Sunday we bring the homeless to our facility; we purchased a school bus to do so. Led by awesome volunteers from different churches, local businesses and individuals, they receive showers, clothing, food, worship, and the love of Christ. Tuesday mornings the showers are open for walk-ins who are homeless or in need. We serve them breakfast and also have a Bible study. During the winter months (Dec 1-Mar 1) we operate a women and children's cold-weather shelter. Run by volunteers, the shelter is open any time the weather is forecast to drop below 40 degrees. We are currently in the process of starting a residential recovery program for women called A Future and A Hope, based on Jeremiah 29:11. We are due to be open when the necessary renovations to the building are completed. The recovery program is partnered with Cross Roads Thrift Store in Molino, FL where women in recovery will serve and give back to the community as they are going through the healing process of recovery.
