Elevating grief to passion. My journey to opening up this shop has not been an easy one; in fact, I never knew I wanted to create a single item on here until life handmade me into a completely different person on the early morning of October 23rd, 2017. I experienced the greatest loss any mother can possibly bear and somewhere between delivering my stillborn daughter to burying her — something in me shifted, something evolved. Being so close to mortality, you begin to understand your own and instead of immersing myself in my grief, I decided to share it. My mantra: I will not hide my grief as I did not hide my love. I opened this shop in honour of my daughter, born to the stars, to celebrate all of life's precious moments & all the people in it. xx Mikayla
