2020 will be the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote in America. In some countries it's even less than that--even in countries you would not expect--France 1944, Switzerland 1971, Portugal 1976. We need to remind ourselves how important this power is and use it to make the world a better place where asking to be treated like equals is not a radical concept. Every human being has the right to self-sovereignty and to participate in government of a society. However it does not come at the expense of slamming men. I have both a son and a daughter, I would never let the rights one one trump the other. Feminism is about treating everyone with respect.
