Squid Wax

Squid Wax first opened in Hanover, Pennsylvania in 1997. At that time it was the only place in town to buy, sell, and trade CDs and Vinyl. The store was owned by Shane "Squid" Warner. Shane was previously the manager of Record Town in the North Hanover Mall before opening his own store. The original Squid Wax closed in 1999. Squid Wax lives once again in 2023 at Downtown Sound and Studios in Hanover, PA. The new store features a thoughtfully curated collection of new and used vinyl, CDs and turntables.
