WHO WE ARE: Soroptimist International of Lincoln is a local chapter of a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Our name, Soroptimist, loosely translated from the Latin, means best for women Our Vision: Local women and girls have the resources and opportunities to reach their full potential and live their dreams. We have been fulfilling this vision locally since 2005 by providing monetary awards to help women and girls pursue their education goals. When women and girls are educated, they have the opportunity, choice, and power to make healthy decisions for themselves and their families.
