PARALLEL THREADS (est. 2022) is an exciting new jazz/funk collaboration out of New Orleans, fusing classic vibes with eclectic international influences. The band features saxophonist Ole Oddlokken (Lilli Lewis Project, Noisewater, Will Vance & The Kinfolk), guitarist Jake Kelston (Bakey's Brew), bassist Joey Laborde (Big Pocket) and Eric Brown on drums (The Medians, Dharma Krewe, Legal Dread). Some compositions wrap you in a warm relaxing blanket of sound, while others take you soaring to the sky and back down again. Perfect for appreciators of roots music, heady psychedelic crowds, house parties and festivals, Parallel Threads is always locked into the groove and doing something different. Debut EP coming Spring 2023.
