When we got our first apartment together, and two big city jobs to match, we knew we'd miss the unexpected adventures of our time in conservation and environmental education. However, it wasn't long before we realized that if you give look a little closer you'll be amazed how much nature you can find and learn about in the places you'd least expect. From our early days of tracking the lives of our local house sparrows to adventures in Orlando or the Galapagos, we've learned to stop, look, and listen for the animals who share our living space and its brought us a lot of peace and wonder. Now we'd like to share that with you. Whether it's a funny picture of a black-capped chickadee wolfing down a sunflower kernel or an image of a resting (but still watchful) eastern cottontail, we hope you find something here that reminds you to look for the little moments of beauty in your life and join us in exploring our beautiful, global neighborhood!
