My life has been a long and happy one. I was borne in Poole in 1945. After travelling for many years, I have now settled down in Dorset with my wife Carol Rivers who is a Saga writer. I always had a love for art as far back as I can remember but I didn’t start painting seriously until 1975. Since then art has become an obsession and I feel very privileged to be able to paint most days. As the years have progressed my style has loosened considerably and I now enjoy to attack the canvas instead of the other way around. I paint any subject but I do love animals and figurative work.
