I may have MS, but I refuse to let MS have me. Yes, My spirit remains unbroken!! If you don't know what MS is, well it is Multiple Sclerosis. I am Confined to a wheelchair now, and I want to see the Orange ribbon, LIKE I SEE THE PINK ONE!!! I am trying to promote MS awareness. I go and do anything possible and when I find something not wheelchair accessible, I fight and growl and make as much noise as I can to have it changed! If you believe that wheelchair accessible is having doorways wide, you have so much to learn. I laugh at apartments that put in an oven/stove that has front nobs and now state it is wheelchair accessible. Do you cook sideways and/or 12-18 inches back from the stove top? It may be handicapped accessible but that doesn't mean it is wheelchair accessible. And wheelchairs come in all sizes and shapes, just like those sitting in them. So, raising awareness about MS is a major challenge, but raising awareness of wheelchair accessibility is just as important to me.
