Hi, I’m Maria. Welcome! Browse my store to find items inspired & driven by a love of nature & the abstract, all of which were discovered on my many travels in the UK, Overseas or even close to home. When I’m out and about with my camera I’m looking for patterns, contours, shapes and colour. If I’m in a rural setting I seek out plants and trees. By the sea, I’m scanning for patterns in the sand, seaweed, shells and colour; beach locations offer a host of photographic opportunities. I search for unusual abstract things other people might not necessarily spot or consider to be good image fodder. I rarely head out with a specific plan, I let my eyes wonder and invariably find subjects that interest me or tickle my fancy. Fundamentally I shoot for myself and what appeals to me, but I’m also thinking about whether the image will connect with an audience and evoke an emotion for them. I pride myself on creating stylish, unique products and it’s always such a great compliment if someone like you is prepared to spend their hard earned money on one of my creations.
