Kansas City Original Night Hawk

Our store is dedicated to the history and promotion of Kansas great heritage past and present. Coon & Sanders Original Night Hawk Orchestra was Kansas City's very first famous Jazz group that signed on the Victor Records labels in the days of early radio. Thousands of Kansas City listeners would stay up late at night to hear the broadcast from the WDAF radio station and thus dubbed "Kansas City Night Hawks" as a result of their loyalty. The broadcast came out a room at the Muelbach Hotel in downtown Kansas City. Kansas City still have great public icons present from the days of yesteryear when it was known as "The Paris Of The Plains".
