These designs are all linked together by their aquatic theme - inhabiting fresh water rivers or the sea. The fish are free style water color paintings and the shells are more realistic renderings. I was inspired by the fish because they are fast, flickering creatures and thought free style was more fitting to their character. The shells are like jewels and I wanted to capture some of the subtle beauty by reproducing the form as close as possible with a combination of acrylic and water colors. Lastly, as a break from the waterworld, a few birds are also available at this store.
