My love for art goes back to my high school days. I have always loved to draw, and was interested in becoming and Architect as a profession. I took several drafting classes in high school and college which evolved into a career in the U.S. Air Force as a Structural Technician (Carpentry, Masonry, Sheet Metal Fabrication, and Welding). Woodworking is an art-form in itself, and there are some amazing artistic woodworkers out in the world. With the inspiration and mentoring of my wood-shop teacher, I have been a passionate woodworker for over 30 years, and am always looking for ways to expand my woodworking and artistic skills. I have recently been experimenting with adding more colored wood species and paint to my wooden creations. I wouldn't call myself a painter just yet, but am working on that. I have created a lot of my own woodworking patterns using Photoshop and GIMP which has led me to turning some of my patterns into digital art renditions.
