Mary McAndrew - Paintress

I'm a paintress who loves to be out sketching in nature. I love walking through the fields and woods near my house to sketch, paint and study nature. I visit England often where I explore the unbelievable beauty of its landscapes and nature which inspire me to paint! I paint nature, landscapes, fantasy and portraits in a realistic but expressive style. I love Nature Sketching and Creative Journaling, and with my blog, introducing others to the joys of “looking closer and taking notice of what’s around us”. I have a BA in Art and studied at the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto, Canada. I have illustrated for Nature Centers, books and a CD album cover. For three years I was Co-Director of the Museum of European Art in Clarence NY where I helped to introduce upcoming local and international artists to the community.
