Hi. I am a CODA - a child of Deaf adults. My first language is ASL (American Sign language). My parents are artists. They have taught me so much. I have been drawing and painting since I was little. After college I moved to San Diego. I stared working as an ASL interpreter and ASL teacher. I just want to add more ASL in the world. I want to see it wherever it can be seen. So I started to learn about creating surface pattern designs. In the last few years I have been creating surface pattern designs with ASL signs in the patterns.
