MARC KITAEN ART

I'm a native San Diego Photographer, Graphic Designer and Mixed Media artist. A self taught childhood artist in painting and illustration, I dreamed of making 3D / 2D sculptural wood relief art in the 1980’s. This gave me a hands on mixed media art experience for 10 years, creating wall art decorations and functional art furniture. It was easy to then transition with my prior art background into creating digital photographic composite art collage’s using a camera and computer software to edit my photography for the last 26 years. There’s always been a life long fascination of wildlife, nature and the mysteries of science that is constantly influencing me in positive ways. I constantly explore our world with artistic eyes, ready to visually capture fleeting beauty with my camera where ever I find it. In nature there is spirit and beauty everywhere, it’s waiting as piece’s of a puzzle I need to photograph and assimilate our world, just for the purpose of touching it, embracing it and then letting it go by sharing the beauty of those moments with creative compelling stories through my digital artistry.
