Lumisalt

Lumisalt grew out of a simple impulse: to stop, look and capture what others walk past. Barcelona-based but shaped by a life lived across borders, the photographer behind Lumisalt has spent a lifetime moving between worlds. Years of wandering with a camera in hand, on city streets, along coastlines, across countryside and through the landscapes that a life of travel continues to open up, have produced a body of work rooted in light, texture and detail. But the image is often not the end of the story. Many photographs may become raw material, layered and reworked into montages that carry the mood of the original moment while becoming something entirely their own.
