Lifeshots

In 2012, my Husband bought me a professional camera for Christmas and I started photographing my granddaughter and my gardens then slowly moved into doing portraits for friends and others by word of mouth. I do not do this type of photography regularly because I am also a full-time nurse. I will sometimes relax by taking walks or taking off to a remote area to commune with God and hone my photography skills. I love taking portraits for others, but I love to capture the beauty of Gods complex creation which I found to be the most enjoyable during those unscheduled moments of discovery. Macro-photography, I found is my way to get up close to those tiny things which are normally passed by without a thought. In seeking a new endeavor , I hope to bring a sense of awe of the world by encouraging others to make a home for these life shots and think more about the beauty of life in their own back yards.
