I am a sand sculptor and in April of 2019 I was invited to compete in Texas at the Texas SandFest. I was inspired to create a potentially controversial piece but I never imagined it would resonate so much with people and go viral online. I decided to make these products based on my face palming Lincoln sculpture titled Liberty is Crumbling.
