About the Artist: Hi, I'm the artist Lena Rae! I am a real person, I do NOT use A.I. to create or color my designs. I prefer to use O.I. ("Original Intelligence") to create all my works of art, to share with real people...Like you. I have lived quite an interesting and (at times) difficult life. I was born with a genetic defect in my eyes that rendered me legally blind for 25 years. In that time, I used art as a way to express myself, escape from harsh realities and try to understand the world around me. Many of the designs I have finalized and presented here, were created from bit's and pieces of sketches I drew, while I traveled through this world and experienced life in a very unique way. Many more were created while I was homeless and living on the road, out of the back of my van, due to the medical debt I was forced take on...just to see this world with my own eyes. As it stands now (with much help...THANK YOU EVERYONE!) I have regained my eyesight, crawled my way out of debt and have a stable home to live in. It is my hope that my art and my life story can serve as an inspiration to others suffering from genetic defects and disabilities. Even when your only friend is the world itself...even if you can't see it...There is hope for us. From my heart to yours, I am happy to share my creations with you!
