Mike is the result of a secret genetic experiment, conducted by MI6 at the Queen's request, to produce a new type of politician capable of returning Britain to greatness. The plan was to use stem cells from animals to give Mike certain attributes. The courage of a lion, the kick of a mule, the wisdom of an owl and the strength of a bull.
