I'm a children's writer and poet, and I love sharing my work. Sometimes people have my books already and are looking for more of my work in other forms. Books--especially picture books--take SO long to publish in the traditional publishing world. Two years is warp speed. Four years is typical. In between writing books and short passages for educational publishers, I also write lots of other poems, many of which I share online for an audience of educators and other writers. I've discovered that I really love creating image poems, where I manipulate a digital image and pair it with my words to create something new that I love. And while I share some of them on my blog, I love the idea of these creations finding their way into the world on actual paper in the form of note cards, journal covers, greeting cards, etc. So...that's why I'm here!
