I am a HEART mom. It's been almost 6 years since my daughter Makenzie was born and since the day we found out she had such a serious heart defect. When we first started out on this road with HLHS we never expected to have as many speed bumps and detours that we have had. Makenzie had 2 ultrasounds and we were never told there was anything wrong with her heart. We feel lucky that our nurse caught that Makenzie's color was a little off and we weren't one of the several people sent home thinking we had a healthy baby. After years of just taking care of Makenzie we decided we need to get the word out and let people know how this serious issues effects your normal everyday people and there is no cause to why it happens sometimes. The design of our shop is to Spread Awareness about CHD’s!
