I'm a photographer living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest who has loved horses for as long as I can remember. When I picked up a camera to photograph them, I knew I had found my passion and life’s work. My time is divided between photographing the human-horse connection, classic equine portraiture and horses in the wild. My passion for photographing America’s iconic wild mustangs was born April 29, 2017 in an Oregon mustang holding facility. There, a gray mare peered through my lens and struck something wild within me. She offered insight, vision, and partnership to help me realize that my own wild spirit needed to be kindled, not conquered. This connection inspired me to travel to remote, rugged locations in pursuit of photographing wild mustangs. Through these tangible pieces, I strive to capture the firsthand experience of the beauty and majesty inherent in America’s wild horses
