When I first lived outside of Japan, I was surprised to see people wearing clothes with Japanese text — and even more surprised to see those clothes being sold.
It made me happy to realize that people around the world love the Japanese language.
But I also thought, “I wish there were more beautiful designs.”
So I decided to make them myself.
