I have always had a love for art, right from a very young age and studied at Hounslow College in Middlesex, London in Graphic Design and Advertising, and then returned to Dundee in Scotland my home town, now famous for the V&A Museum. On leaving college I worked for a number of graphic design companies and in 2001 I started my own graphic design business in Kinross. Since 2000 I have started to paint in oils and I have really enjoyed it. My two art heros are Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Cezanne and it is the style of Cezanne that has been a major influence on my recent work. I have recently been inspired by the works of Pablo Picasso in particular his interpretation of the female form, as a contemporary art form. I enjoy painting and creating new works it brings much pleasure. I also enjoy experimenting with paint and exploring new styles.
