HipOClothing

Hip-O is a brand created by Riverside based artist Rachael Dzikonski. When Rachael's daughter was younger, her nickname was Hippo because hippopotamuses were a family favorite. This inspired Rachael to create a print of a hippo face for an art show and to also hang in her daughters room when the show was over. When carving the letters to spell "hippo" Rachael came to a stand still and realized she wasn't going to have enough room for another "p" and the "o".... so she decided to add a dash instead of a second "p" which saved her enough room to finish the word "Hip-O." From there the logo stuck and Rachael has continued to add new characters to the Hip-O family. Rachael's daughter Calista, now thirteen, helps create new Hip-O's too!
