Cornelius Epling, born Casey Cornelius Epling, grew up in Indian Springs a desolate outpost in the middle of the Nevada desert. With not much to do but skateboard at the town’s only convenience store parking lot, he started experimenting with his simple line drawings as a creative outlet. As a teenager, he moved 100 miles away to the Big City of Lights - Las Vegas. He started designing flyers for local punk rock bands. Eventually he started playing bass and vocals for several Las Vegas-based bands. This evolved to other areas of artistic pursuits. In 2003, Cornelius moved to Seattle, where he started painting and getting serious about his art. At age 35, Cornelius became a father with his high school sweetheart, Tara Joy. Life got busy to say the least. Eventually, he found time and a quiet place, the basement, to rekindle his love of painting. So enjoy the Original paintings he has created and continues to create.
