I loved to draw as a child, but my sketches were stiff, and without movement. At the age of 12, an adult made a negative comment about my drawings, and I vowed to never draw again. And, for 18 years, I didn't. When I was 30, I was praying with a friend, and she spoke that I am a painter, and that my paintings would give joy to others. One problem - I didn't know how to paint. After much resistance, I went to an art supply store, and bought the materials. That night, God painted my first painting through me. I was amazed, and I have been painting ever since. I am drawn to color, and incorporate color into every image. Colorful fashion is worn by every ethnic group. I hope to capture these fashion styles, and use color to elevate your mood at the same time. Join me in this therapeutic, and restorative venture.
