The Florida Wildlife Hospital & Sanctuary is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to Florida's wildlife in need. Our Mission is to aid injured, sick, and orphaned native Florida wildlife and migratory birds and return them to their place in the ecosystem. The Florida Wildlife Hospital and Sanctuary is open 365 days a year to admit wildlife patients. We see many declining species that are of special concern, including the sandhill crane, the gopher tortoise, and the osprey. We care for almost 5,000 patients per year. Although we are licensed by state and federal government agencies, we receive no funding from them. We operate only on donations from membership dues, local companies, and grants. Your support is extremely important to the Florida Wildlife Hospital and to the continued care of Florida's treasure--our wildlife.
