Hi, my name is Lisa, and I am the owner and artist who started Grand Story Ornaments, a specialty shop from Flory Avenue Designs. I am also a lover of Jesus, a wife, and a homeschool mom to two adorable children. One of my favorite Christmas traditions when I was growing up was to decorate the tree. It was something that we always did together as a family, and the ornaments always had some personal meaning or story behind them. Decorating the tree was a kind of storytelling session. We had ornaments that were passed down to us, ornaments that were gifts, ornaments that we had made. As we hung each one, we would reminisce. And we would continue to add to our stories with new ornaments every year. But it wasn't just the ornaments. There were other Christmas decorations that were infused with memories and stories. There were special Christmas mugs for hot chocolate, special shirts to wear, and then all the lovely cards that came in the mail. Christmas also was a time to get crafty and add those special personal touches to homemade gifts and treats. That is the experience that I want to make available through Grand Story Ornaments.
