... Cowgirl from day one! As most horse people I have had my share of bumps but I seem to survive the unsurvivable. In 2006 I re-learned to walk, after a 1 ton hay stack fell on me, in time to compete in "Extreme Cowboy race" season 3. I finished the course with limited use of my left leg while some didn't. Earning me the nick name of "Extreme Cowgirl" Then this past October 2008 I survived what is called the truly unsurvivable. I broke my neck while at college diving practice. I hit the diving board and was pulled from the water a quadriplegic. Emergency surgery the next day, and by some miracle I walked out 2 days later. My Surgeons remind me just how lucky I am, and to be honest, they don't need to. I know. While I am recovering I am not allowed to play with my horses and can not lift more then 10 lbs. So to earn money to pay for my horses I am starting a t-shirt and product line. "What may seem like a series of unfortunate events may, infact, be the first steps of a journey"
