Several years ago, after suffering mounting health issues, I was compelled to retire from my full-time job of being a commercial carpenter and welder. I was recently diagnosed with Early Onset Parkinson's disease and so have struggled to find employment. Considering the circumstances, I decided to make the most of my life and went back to my first love, which is art of all kinds. I figured, why not? There are many, many new resources available now that were unheard of in 1991 when I graduated with my art degree. And so, Dragon Valley Artworks was born. I enjoy photography, collage, welding, sculpture, drawing and many other forms of art and this is my way of translating some of my work into forms that many people can enjoy, while making something of a living for myself.
