This store was set up to sell some products for VernFest 2022; a Memorial Celebration of Life for our Friend and local Columbus, Ohio musician : Vern Peltomaa who passed away suddenly this Spring. The design was created by our dear friend David Calco and we think it really captures the spirit of the event. Proceeds from all sales in this store will be donated to plant a memorial grove of trees in the Central Ohio area ( we are still negotiating with the Park Service so the location is TBD) to serve as a loving perpetual memory of Vern. The Celebration of Life Event is taking place at the Mirror Lake Amphitheater, on the Campus of The Ohio State University where Vern and his band Local Color performed too many times to count over the past 30 years. His friends, fellow musicians and family will gather on July 30, 2022 to perform and celebrate his amazing spirit and all the music and good vibes he put into the world.
