Born in Sydney, Australia in 1959. Deborah L. Bell has been an artist all her life since she was old enough to hold a pencil in her hand. Studying art in high school she then learnt folk art Later she studying copperfoiling and leadlighting. Over the years Deborah has created various artworks with various mediums from paintings to furniture to windows. Since 1995 Deborah changed her focus in art to fairies and fantasy. She has worked on personal commissions and enjoys creating fairy and fantasy artworks with a spiritual link. The primary mediums used being acrylics, watercolours, watercolour pencils, colour pencils and graphite pencils. Deborah loves sketching and painting the human form and taking reality into fantasy. Inspirations from the beautiful colours and structural forms of nature has resulted in the unique beauty of her original fairy and fantasy artwork. In December 2006, three of Deborah's Fairy and Fantasy artworks Ruby Fae, Wattle Fae and Mother Nature were exhibited in the Summer Moments Art Exhibition, in Sydney, Australia. In June 2008 two of Deborah’s new fantasy artworks based on the elements with a dragon theme were accepted in epilogue.net which is an online art gallery of the most talented artists and illustrators that specialize in science fiction and fantasy art. Both Deborah's original fairy and fantasy artworks and art prints can be found in homes around the world. Deborah is very focused in dedicating her energies to furthering her skills and venturing deeper into her art. The beauty in her art is portrayed from both life for light and darkness and the beauty and strength with reality and fantasy.
