ALC 11 will be my 2th consecutive year riding the AIDS/LifeCycle. That's MY SECOND TIME riding from SF to LA to raise money and awareness around HIV/AIDS! I still remember worrying if I'll make it through day two on my first ride. Fundraising has always been the hardest thing for me; I hate asking for money, and it is especially difficult when friends and neighbors are unemployed. So I hope I can count on some of you to help out with a donation to a good cause (don't forget, its a tax writeoff too!) while I pedal my ass off. With budget cuts for HIV and AIDS services in the millions of dollars, many of these critical programs are at risk of closing their doors, leaving thousands of people with limited, or no access to life saving medical treatment and prescription drugs. Your contributions to the AIDS/LifeCycle provide funding to vital prevention education, early detection and treatment programs to help bring these numbers down until a cure can be found.
