Char Porter artist is known for her oil painting techniques of the Old Masters; painting landscapes was her favorite. She became very good at teaching these techniques at community centers and then taught courses in her own studio for many years. She then moved on to more modern themes with her creative abstracts using mixed media, with acrylic, ink watercolor, sculpture and photography. Char passed away in April 2020 in Boulder Colorado. Her children now maintains her art gallery.
