Despite the fact most people are committed to gender equality, many of us are still unwittingly holding onto traditional perceptions of gender roles. We applaud the achievements of female politicians and female CEOs, but we still call them female politicians and female CEOs. We embrace flexible working hours to help mums come back into the workforce and juggle childcare, but we forget that men are parents too. The idea with these little contextual reminders is to get people to consider their own decision-making processes in particular scenarios, to question whether there might in fact be a bias at play for them right now.
