Hi, and welcome to my Zazzle store. I am a now - retired veterinarian. This all began when I adopted three chickens as pets in the 1990's. At the time I was the owner/operator of a mobile small animal ultrasound service, traveling southern Arizona to examine patients. On a whim, I started to give away calendars with pictures of my chickens every year at Xmas time as a thank you to my clients. To my surprise, the arrival of the new 'chicken calendar' became a much anticipated annual event, not only for my clients, but as word spread, for friends, neighbors, and even just acquaintances. All of "my girls" (as I used to refer to my chickens) have now passed on to the great coop in the sky. Retired and chickenless, I spend my time these days traveling between Arizona, Michigan and Central America, making images of all species of birds and other animals.
