Cape_Decision_Light

Cape Decision Lighthouse Society is a volunteer non-profit organization focused on the preservation of the Light Station as a living piece of maritime heritage. Our goal is to maintain the Light Station as an accessible platform for experiential education, backcountry recreation, scientific research and the arts. Through collaboration and outreach we encourage the public to experience this unique cultural and natural resource. ​ The Cape Decision Lighthouse Society (CDLS) is a grass-roots 501(c)3 non-profit Alaskan corporation. In 1997 CDLS was awarded stewardship responsibilities for the Cape Decision Light Station and its Lighthouse Reserve by the US Coast Guard. In 2004 the property was officially conveyed to CDLS and in 2005 it was added to the US Register of Historic Places.
