Hi, I’m Lainey! I am a Chinese born Canadian with parents from Hong Kong. Growing up, I heard Cantonese/Chinese phrases and idioms used frequently but I was only able to understand some of them. I thought this store would be a fun way for myself and others to learn the meaning behind these frequently used phrases. I thought I’d design these to look like the street signs of Hong Kong as that’s my favourite place to vacation!
