Brown Sugar

Brown Sugar is the term I have coined to describe South Asian's (specifically South Asian females). Growing up, I went to a predominately white high school where I was one of three South Asians in my graduating class and basically hid my "brown" cap cause I was low-key ashamed of Desi identity when everyone else was white. However, as I got older, I learned to not only embrace my Pakistani identity, but to love it and share it.
