Bombelkie

Marcin and Dawid Witukiewicz are identical twin brothers born only 5 minutes apart. Though it may be hard to believe, their interests, artistic aesthetic and their ambitions are as intertwined as their common birth date. As they were growing up they were often referred to as BOMBELKIE, which means bubbles, which is the English equivalent to two pees in a pod. This name has followed them and they have embraced it. Bombelkie creates epic monumental photographs and portraits, you would be proud to hang on your wall". We see ourselves as artists that use the camera, as a tool (like a brush), to help create the end product. Not like a conduit to the end product, where just exposures and colors are adjusted in a suit. Instead, the camera only provides the raw images to photoshop (in our case) where it is carefully manipulated. Sometimes using multiple images, painting techniques, and layers to create art very much like a painter would.
